Our Causes

Zonta International chartered our Club on April 24, 1948.

In order to have effective and positive administration, Zonta clubs are grouped into Districts. We are in District 11 which covers clubs in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and the French Virgin Islands.

Zonta International is a leading global organization of individuals working together

to Build a Better World for Women and Girls. This is our Mission.

Zonta provides a great opportunity for a few of us in Montgomery

to join with other like-minded professionals to make an impact across the world.

We embrace the Causes of our Chartering Organization:

Advocating for Gender Equality

Ending Gender-Based Violence

Ending Child Marriage

Expanding Access to Education

We believe in making the world a better place by empowering women.

We find joy in doing this in a supportive community

from diverse countries and cultures.

Enjoy learning about us and our local causes through this Site,

and if you are interested in joining us, please let us know.
